Free forever
Every photo tool on this site is free to use — not a trial, not a limited tier, not a watermark you pay to remove. This page lists exactly what that covers, so you know before you start what you will pay at the end: nothing.

What you will never find here
- A watermark on your downloaded photo.
- A "free preview" that hides the download behind a payment.
- A subscription, trial countdown or credit system.
- A requirement to create an account before using the tools.
- Your photo uploaded to a server as the price of using the tool.
How it stays free
Passport Room is an independent project, not a photo lab or a visa agency. The heavy parts of the pipeline — the AI models — run on your device, not on rented servers, so each photo you make costs the project a one-time model download instead of per-photo server bills. That architecture is why the tool can stay free and unlimited: there is no server meter running while you work. The about page explains who builds and maintains it.
FAQ
Is there a catch?
The tool is free; the photos you print are not always — a photo kiosk or photo paper costs money, and that cost belongs to the print shop, not to Passport Room. Everything on this site, including exports, is free.
Could the free tools become paid later?
The project's position is that the photo maker is free forever, as stated on the homepage and in the feature list. If anything ever changes, it would be announced on this site — but the on-device design means there is no server cost that would force a paywall.
Do free exports have lower quality?
No. Exports render at the full resolution implied by the chosen preset at 300 DPI — the same file quality regardless of how many photos you have made.
Do I need to sign up to download?
No. Downloads generate in your browser from the canvas and go straight to your device's downloads folder, with or without an account.
